A Pocket Guide
A pocket guide to increase happiness and

I originally wrote this informal pocket guide on mental health and wellness for my children in 2013. The original title of the book was 'Replug YOU' (a pocket guide for busy people seeking a holistic wellbeing solution for mind, body, and health) - see original cover concept below. What began as something personal soon found its way to family and friends.
In 2020 I created a slightly updated version (includes slight edits and a new section: 'Quick Tips for Children by My Children'.) during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic—a time when the world felt heavy and uncertain. It was a way to offer some comfort, some clarity, and a reminder that even in dark moments, we can find balance and light. Once again the updated version found its way to family and new friends, as we all tried to navigate that difficult period together. You could say I was also replugging myself by updating the pocket guide.

As part of BBC Headfest '24, I am sharing it with a wider audience. I hope it brings the same comfort and calm to others as it did for us.
